Marine Foam Filled Fender Introduction
Marine foam filled fenders must not be sunk with the thermally laminated closed-cell polyethylene foam core. They have a strong reinforced polyurethane elastomer skin, available in black and a variety of colors, including orange and navy gray.
As an alternative to the pneumatic rubber fender, marine foam filled fender is extremely durable. Moreover, without air inside, there’s no risk of bursting or sinking. And it’s widely used in harbor, offshore platform, or ship to ship operations. Jerryborg’s marine foam filled fenders are available in black and other customized colors upon customer’s request.
Structure Of Marine Foam Filled Fender
- Closed-cell EVA foam
Closed-cell polyethylene foam performs well in high durability and sturdiness even at extremely low temperatures.
- Reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric
Nylon and tire cord reinforcement is strong enough to protect the foam inside
- High elastomer polyurea skin
Outerwear surface is the non-marking polyurethane, which is resistant to acid and alkali, besides it has higher load-bearing capacity and impact resistance.
